The Story: I was invited to photograph Boscawen Un stone circle by the landowners. This upright panoramic captures the alignment of the stone circle in relation to the landscape surrounding it. The stone circle consists of a central standing stone encircled by 19 other stones, including 18 made of grey granite and one made of bright quartz that is aligned in the direction of the full moon during the solstice. This was one of many compositions taken on the day, but I found the quirky qualities of this image pleasing and other-worldly.
